fma vs fma brotherhood

fma vs fma brotherhood debate

fma vs fma brotherhood

fma vs fma brotherhood, which do I like? I prefer the first anime because the homunculus were far more threatening, the focus stayed on the Elric brothers and their journey. In Brotherhood it’s hard to take some situations, and battles serious, because of a bit more comedy, but mostly the abundance of allies; brotherhood just has way too many. They got some homunculus, chimeras, much more military allies, Xing people, more help from Scar, and a few others. This is the most apparent in the last fight where it’s a nearly underplayed Naruto moment with everyone having their piece at the final guy without any care for any tension or suspense. In the first anime anytime a homunculus approached the brothers or scar it was threatening, because half the power comes from the heroes while half comes from the villain. The brothers mostly alone had to over come their fears, fight through their struggles. Watching the Elric brothers dealing with those events alone, allowed them, and us to grow, and understand the hardships, and choices they had to make to move forward. It’s great development to watch the first episodes, and see Ed with his ego over people who believe in a savior. Then having others like Tucker, and Lust show him how childish his beliefs. Also his return to Roses town just to find out he actually screwed it up more really shows the complications of life, and brings out more of Ed’s simple thoughts.

Fma vs fma brotherhood music, and art

The music I feel is much more suiting for the majority of the time.
Art is more clear, concise, and has better colors, and that was years way before.

Look at the weight on the original anime’s greed, and see how he fights. He’s not rapid, but you can definitely distinction the way him, and Ed fight
Brotherhood ending is way too happy just for the sake of being happy. The first anime ending shows the reason you watch a series that preaches “Equivalent exchange,” which Brotherhood underplays a lot like the importance, and secret to the philosopher stone. The basic principles itself is how life works which Brotherhood doesn’t address. After Ed’s encounter with Dante, and Hoenheim he learns that equivalent exchange is true, but it’s far more complicated, and not simple at all. You have materials for a house, and you want a house wala? Nope, there are materials you need, there’s time wasted, energy, effort, and outside forces to make the true exchange. It showed Ed the question what is an equal exchange? It wasn’t a simple answer that they couldn’t involve factors on a bigger scale.

FMA vs FMA brotherhood climax

When I watch brotherhood I think of Naruto, yes, Naruto. I don’t hate Naruto, it has great moments, and bad moments, but it has its mark on Anime history with many creative, and original ideas. I actually think Naruto is more deep, because even Naruto has delved on what it is to be good, what it is to be evil, is there such thing as evil? If a man slaughters a village how do you prove his actions are wrong? Cause you think it’s wrong? He thinks it’s right. Brotherhood here are the good guys, here are the bad guys, let’s fight. Not to mention its uses of adding gimmicks to the characters to make them more likable. Shikamaru? Lin?(examples in this thread) They’re their own cliche to make fans who don’t like Naruto, but want something like it. Brotherhood falls on the blackwhite slope as it focuses on action, and more character introduction. The first anime Ed goes from this is wrong, murder is wrong, cause I said so to someone who thinks “I don’t know if anything we’re doing is right, we’ve committed many sins, but we have to finish what we started,” Is much more powerful, because it’s a step in open mindedness, and a realization of ones true intentions.
On to the conclusion of fma vs fma brotherhood, and to each his own, I like the first anime, because it fleshes out the two brothers, their journey, theories, principles, and sacrifices. I don’t hate Brotherhood, but I like it the way I like Naruto.
